Mail Day is a lovely day!

I still remember sitting at the dining room table as a little girl writing letters - making sure to have a magazine under my paper so that I wouldn't imprint my message onto the top of my mom's nice wood table. I even made myself a special box to keep all of my note cards and envelopes in.

I grew up in a military family, lived overseas during elementary school, went away to college, married a Marine, moved cross country, survived four deployments - there has been a lot of letter writing in my story. Yes, I am grateful for email, text messages, FaceTime, no doubt; but there is something extra special about a handwritten note that has been sealed and stamped and sent to your own little mailbox. Oh the magic of mail day! (Thank goodness it's actually 6 days a week)

Mail Day Paperie was created to share the excitement of that personal touch - a note, a special gift, something done purposefully . . . just for you!

We all deserve to feel special and it's always nice to be thought of. A long distance hug, a happy announcement, or a little treasure picked out with you in mind.
